Signing up for My Health Account Workforce

If you are aged 16 or over and are a member of Aotearoa New Zealand’s health workforce, you can sign up for your own My Health Account Workforce.

Before you sign up, you need your own email address. It must be unique to you and not one you share with someone else. It also must be a different email address from the one you used when you created a My Health Account as a health consumer.

You can sign up for My Health Account Workforce and prove who you are online using:

  • your My Health Account (health consumer account)
  • RealMe® and RealMe Verified
  • one of several New Zealand and Australian identity documents
  • your details that are held by your GP or medical centre – we will not store any information related to your GP enrolment in your Workforce account.

When you try to access a connected digital health service, which requires you to use My Health Account Workforce, you will be prompted to sign up or you can type https://workforce.identity.health.nz into your browser, then follow the on-screen instructions.

You will be asked to read and agree to My Health Account Workforce’s Terms of use and Privacy statement.

Note: if you already used RealMe or RealMe Verified to sign up for your My Health Account, you will need to sign up for My Health Account Workforce using an email address and password.
