69 Tory is a premium meeting venue where people come together to collaborate and shape ideas in a neutral space. Located at Cnr Tory & Tennyson St, we’re an easy 15 minute drive from Wellington Airport.
We provide high-quality and versatile meeting rooms suitable for planning days through to professional development, board meetings and training sessions. We also offer two comfortable and stylish office spaces.
With new ways of working, our team offer full support for remote/in-person meetings. Our state of the art audio and video conferencing, along with fast Wi-Fi, ensure you can connect via Zoom to your out-of-town colleagues.
We offer quality catering options that can be tailored to meet your requirements, including individually packaged catering. Our breakout areas offer a new environment to help spark your best ideas.

Big spaces
69 Tory has four fully customisable big rooms available, with capacity up to 85 people. Comfortable breakout areas are also available for you to use. Our dedicated staff will ensure everything meets your needs, giving you time to focus on the important things.
Our meeting room names are inspired by the surrounding suburbs, reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of Wellington and its role at the forefront of governance.
The Te Aro room
This is one of our largest rooms and features lovely, natural light. The Te Aro room is suitable for a variety of uses from meetings or workshops to team building exercises. Seats up to 85 people.

Another of our larger spaces, the Thorndon room is great for board or large meetings.

Matiu Somes is your quiet space in the city – a place you can drop-down for an hour, half-day or full-day.

Make a booking
If you're booking for the first time, you'll need to register first. It doesn't take long.
Parking

We also have a limited number of visitor car parks (depending on availability), to book please email facilities@tas.health.nz
Catering information
Our off-site caterers A and B offer a wide range of tasty morning tea, working lunch and afternoon tea options. Or you have the option of choosing New World Food Platters.
Note:
- a delivery fee applies to each catering order
- your costs centre will be invoiced directly for catering.
New World does not offer individual dietary options, but do have some vegetarian and gluten-free platters. Caterer A and Caterer B accommodate dietary options including keto, vegetarian, vegan, gluten and nut free items.
Note: There is surcharge for some dietary items.
Important information
- No external meals/food can be brought into 69 Tory.
- We are an unlicensed venue.
- Tea and coffee can be ordered for arrival.
- Our menus change seasonally.

Please note:
- Catering orders are required 48 hours in advance.
- Both Caterer A and B have a minimum order of 5+ PAX. Caterer B offers a light lunch.
- New World FOOD PLATTERS - limited dietary options available and no individual dietaries.
The catering invoice will be emailed directly to you the budget holder, for approval for payment.
