Systems we use
The new NCSP-Register (NCSP-R) is the national database for cervical screening. It provides a central, secure place for storing cervical screening information, and tracking and communicating with eligible or enrolled participants throughout their cervical screening pathway. It makes it easier to invite individuals to take part in the National Cervical Screening Programme and to let people know when they are next due for a screening appointment.
Whaihua is the name given to a provider portal where specific cervical screening data from the NCSP-R can be accessed by approved cervical screening service providers and users. Currently a small number of health providers who provide cervical screening services are approved for Whaihua user access.
Health Identity User Interface (HealthUI) enables healthcare providers to connect to the National Health Index (NHI) database to search for and view patient identity information.
