Te Whatu Ora STONZ Manual
This Manual provides information on the parties' agreed application of the Te Whatu Ora and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) employment agreement. It contains processes, procedures and resources, for deploying and supporting Resident Medical Officers (RMOs).
Content has been developed for:
- The Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ)
- People providing administrative and management support to RMOs – for example, RMO Support Units, Duty Managers, Services, Senior Medical Officers, Payroll, Employment Relations and Human Resources teams.
The Royal New Zealand College of Surgeons conducted research into appropriate working hours for surgical training in 2017.
