Lead

Lead is a metal that can be found in the environment, around the home or at workplaces. If untreated, lead poisoning can be serious.
Whatu Tāniko pattern
  • Lead poisoning (goes to another website)

    Some people will develop health problems or lead poisoning if they are exposed to enough lead. If untreated, lead poisoning can be serious.
  • Removing lead-based paint (goes to another website)

    You can get lead poisoning if you do not take care when you remove lead-based paint from the inside or outside of a building.
  • Blood lead notification level

    The notification process is triggered when a person returns a blood lead test that shows an elevated blood lead level.
