Meet the Allied Professions Lead for Pacific Peoples Health
For Pacific allied professionals new to working at Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley, this is an opportunity to join the Allied Professions Lead for Pacific Peoples Health for a 30 to 45 minute session. During this time you will learn more about the cultural supports available to you within the district, discover national networks, such as the Pacific Allied Health Aotearoa New Zealand (external link) (PAHAnz) group, and gain insight into the Pacific Health services available that can assist Pacific patients and their aiga (family) during their in-patient stay and upon discharge if required.

Pacific Allied Professionals Talanoa / Fonos
Every quarter (every three months) we hold an in-person gathering for all Pacific allied professionals at one of the hospital sites: Kenepuru, Wellington Regional or Hutt Hospital. To maximise participation, we have made these sessions available on Microsoft Teams also. These gatherings provide a valuable opportunity to meet other Pacific allied professionals and staff members, talanoa and build connections.
