This information is used to inform strategic and operational workforce analysis, development and planning at the local, regional and national level

It's a requirement in the Children’s Act 2014 for all existing, non-core children’s workers to have passed an appropriate check to work with children.

All providers of primary maternity services must have submitted a safety check to the Ministry of Health to claim for services.
