In the 12 months to 30 June 2022 across all services funded as part of the National Telehealth Service (NTS), along with COVID services, we responded to over 5.1 million contacts - nearly 14,000 a day- an increase of 248% on the previous year.

We connected with more than 2.1 million individual people - roughly 1 in 2 people in Aotearoa.

92% of all calls were answered within 10 minutes.

The services are supported by 12 clinical teams of registered nurses, mental health nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, counsellors, doctors, paramedics, poisons officers, health advisors, and emergency triage nurses.
