How to onboard your API or Data Service to the Digital Services Hub

If you have an API or data service that you think would benefit our health information ecosystem, we would like to hear from you.  The steps are outlined below:

  1. Step 1: Learn about the Health New Zealand API standards

    Learn about the Health New Zealand API standards, polices and best practices to check if you are able to meet our API requirements.

  2. Step 2: Complete the Risk Score Assessment and submit an Expression of Interest

    Submit an Expression of Interest form.  As part of this, you will need to complete the Risk Score Assessment. 

  3. Step 3: When your API or data service is ready

    When your API or data service is ready for compliance, please fill out our support form and select the option which will progress to the next stage of listing your API or data service in our API catalogue. 

  4. Step 4: When compliance is confirmed

    When compliance is confirmed, we will configure gateway access to your Production API or data service and finalise operational support arrangements.

  5. Step 5: Your API is listed on the Digital Services Hub

    Your API is listed on the Digital Services Hub and you are operating as business as usual with agreed version control and release management processes in place.
