Our Health NZ Library has opened up for the first time to community primary care health professionals across the country.

The expanded access supports clinical decision-making and research with trusted, up-to-date information, helping all primary care health practitioners deliver better outcomes for patients.

We are committed to supporting our primary care health partners with access to a wide range of research and learning materials and support.

The resources are available to all primary care professionals including doctors in GP practices, pharmacists, nurses working in aged residential care, or allied health practitioners such as physiotherapists, dieticians, occupation health specialists or podiatrists.

Health practitioners can register through a portal and once approved, they will be able to access evidence-based databases, journals and reports, and point-of-care tools. Examples include BMJ Best Practice, the Cochrane Library and the Proquest Health Research Premium Database Collection.

Community health professionals can register on our website or via the external Health Pathways site if they have access.
