These guidelines are for clinicians and health professionals who work in primary care and in districts delivering services for the National Bowel Screening Programme.
They set out best practice care and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations. The aim is to support clinicians and participants to make informed decisions together about screening, follow-up, and treatment.
Update on Polyp Surveillance Guidelines 2020 provides recommendations for surveillance after colonoscopy and complete removal of adenomas and serrated polyps.
