Health New Zealand and Tōpūtanga Tapuhi Kaitiaki o Aotearoa New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) are committed to working together to resolve outstanding issues and achieve a new collective agreement for nurses, midwives, and health care assistants.
NZNO Chief Executive Paul Goulter says following this week’s industrial action, Health NZ and NZNO have agreed to re-enter bargaining with a view to achieving a settlement that is satisfactory for both parties.
The parties will enter into bargaining as soon as possible and are looking to confirm a time next week.
Health NZ Chief Executive Dr Dale Bramley says bargaining will be entered into in good faith and Health NZ is committed to reaching a fair agreement as soon as possible.
