Drafts of new and revised HISO standards are posted on Health Consultation Hub for public comment before they are finalised and published.

The public comment process ensures that all interested parties are consulted on the data and digital standards that will become health and disability system requirements.

Comment is also invited from the general public.

Public comment is normally open for between four and eight weeks, depending on the nature of the material and the level of interest. After the closing date, an evaluation panel meets to consider all submissions and agree any changes to each document before publication. Along with the final product, we post a non-attributed summary of the submissions received and the action taken.

See the standards open for public comment. Also listed are our recently closed consultations.

We welcome your feedback and participation.
