Statement attributable to Dr Dale Bramley, Chief Executive, Health New Zealand

Health New Zealand welcomes the decision of the Public Service Association (PSA) to recommend settlement to its membership on four collective agreements following extensive negotiations.

The four collective agreements cover Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical; Public & Mental Health Nurses – Auckland; Public & Mental Health Nurses – Rest of New Zealand and Policy, Advisory, Knowledge and Specialist workforces encompassing over 19,000 staff.

The union has taken the recommended offers to their members for voting and ratification.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the PSA for their positive engagement and commitment to jointly reaching a proposed settlement.
