Health New Zealand welcomes the successful ratification of the Public Service Association (PSA) Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical (APHST) collective employment agreement.
Around 12,300 employees will benefit from a pay increase of 2.5 per cent in year one from December 2025 and a further 2 per cent from December 2026.
The agreement also includes a $500 lump sum payment for staff, a new pay scale for Sterile Sciences Technicians, and a $400,000 national professional development fund.
The agreement recognises the effort and hard work of APHST staff who operate across the health system. We acknowledge and thank the PSA for their constructive approach to reaching a settlement.
