All disability services continue to operate when COVID-19 is in the community.

Some disabled people may have underlying health conditions that make them at a higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

You are strongly encouraged to take extra precautions to keep them safe. This includes wearing a mask indoors, physical distancing when possible, and washing hands.

Risk assessments should be used to consider:

  • the level of personal protection equipment required 
  • the method of service delivery (for example, remote or face to face).
