What Measles Immunisation Week is about

The week is a nationwide initiative to:

  • amplify existing campaigns and sector efforts
  • raise public awareness about the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine
  • highlight the importance of timely immunisation for people of all ages.

It also aims to promote that:

  • funded immunisations are available and accessible throughout the country
  • people are encouraged to check their immunisation status or book to get immunised.
